Yesterday I had the opportunity to go on a "boat fieldtrip" and I had a blast! My friend invited me and it was so great :) We were on a boat for about 4 hours doing different experiments and just enjoying the beautiful surroundings. We saw a few gray whales and a HUGE pod of dolphins. There must have been at least 40-50 of them. It was spectacular. Here are a few shots I got..

Ah, that's so neat, Kate! I've never been out to sea on a boat, but it sounds/looks like a marvelous experience!

That looks like such a cool time :)! I'd love to go out on a boat, especially after being confined all winter long. Summer has me anxious.
I absolutely love the picture of the manta ray, haha! It's face is..humanlike. It's strange, but awesome.
