Yesterday I had the craziest day!
First, one of my good friends and I went to this place called Central Casting. It's an agency that hires people to be background actors in television shows and movies. We both waited in line for THREE HOURS to register. I'm crossing my fingers I'll get some work before school starts on some sweet sets! I'm excited to see what happens with it.
Next, I rushed around at home before my boyfriend and his brother picked me up to go to the Staples Center for the X Games. My boyfriend had won free tickets to the X Games through KROQ (a local radio station) so we were really looking forward to a free night at the Staples Center.
Once we got there, we found our seats which weren't that bad. We were up pretty high but it was a cool view of the ramps for the skateboard and BMX bike big air tricks.
After about an hour, the announcers mentioned a contest where you could win a free upgrade to the best seats in the house by texting in. The three of us texted in and didn't expect much from it.
Then five minutes later I get a call on my phone saying I won the free upgrade! We were ecstatic! We then had to make a mad dash two stories down and around the whole center to meet up with the guy who had our new tickets. After we got them we found our new seats which were 11 rows up from the front. We were right in fromt of where the moto x tricks were going to be, which we couldn't have really seen from where we were originally.
Everything was amazing! Apparently we were in a special section that we think was for family and friends of the riders so that was pretty cool too.
Before we left, we went up to the front to try and get autographs from the winners. My boyfriend got the second place moto x guy to sign his hat, which was pretty cool. :) But before the other guys came around they started to kick everyone out.
As we were leaving the Staples center, I looked over at a group of people and I suddenly realized there was Audrina from The Hills! I was flipping out and I know my boyfriend and his brother thought I was ridiculous but I didn't care. Haha! But I think it's so cool to see TV people in person. She was with some guy who, if I eavesdropped correctly, she introduced to these other people as Travis. See the picture below I had my boyfriend's brother snap quickly.. Haha
Anyway, as I was regaining my composure, we decided to go to the KROQ booth outside the center to thank them for the free tickets we got from them. After we said thanks, the guy was like, "Hey, do you like Reel Big Fish?" And we were like, "Uh, sure!" So then he gave us free tickets to go across the street to the Nokia Club for the concert! It was a pretty cool venue, but we didn't stay long. We saw the end of a performance by some unknown band, then The English Beat came on. Apparently they had over an hour before the main show to play, but we were done. We wanted to get out of there before we smelled like the apparent herb of choice in the club. It was gross. But we enjoyed ourselves.. We just couldn't believe the night we had!

And I am SO excited for tomorrow - it's the No Doubt/Paramore concert!!! I plan on taking TONS of photos, especially since my friends and I are dressing up with Gwen Stefani in mind. Ha! ;)

Haha, that is awesome, You saw Audrina! I dont like her that much as the hills people og, but still pretty awesome! I had an experience like this, i was with my brother and i saw Jessica Stam the model and i started freaking out .. he didnt understand!
